Online Study

How LCT Online Courses Work

The online model is designed to let learners study from different locations while following a defined programme structure. The exact process can vary by course, but the following sequence reflects the general LCT UK approach.

1. Choose the correct programme and level

Begin with the intended role or professional-development goal. Compare the programme title, entry requirement, curriculum, duration, assessment and current fee. Where several levels are available, choose the level that matches your existing education and the depth of study you need.

If the course will be used for a specific job, overseas application or further study, check the receiving organisation's requirement before paying.

2. Complete enrolment

Once eligibility and the course choice are confirmed, complete the enrolment and payment process using the method supplied by LCT. Confirm the final payable fee, currency, any fast-track charge and the certification arrangement before making payment.

Keep the enrolment confirmation, payment receipt and programme information for your records.

3. Access the learning area and study modules

After enrolment, learners receive access information for the online learning environment. Study is organised by module so candidates can work through the course in a logical sequence.

Set a weekly study plan that reflects the published course hours and your target completion date. Flexible study is most effective when it still has regular deadlines and protected study time.

4. Complete assessment and use tutor support

Assessment may include module MCQs and, depending on level, written assignments, lesson plans, projects, case studies or research tasks. Use tutor support when a concept or assessment requirement is unclear.

After all required components have been successfully completed, the certification process follows the arrangement published for that programme. Keep your course and assessment records after completion.

Before you start

  • Confirm the exact course level and entry requirement.
  • Check the current fee and any fast-track or graduation charges.
  • Ask which institution issues the final certificate for your programme.
  • Confirm the normal study period and any deadline for course completion.
  • Make sure you have reliable access to email, the learning platform and required documents.

How to stay on track

Set a realistic weekly study target and divide longer assignments into smaller stages. Self-paced learning offers flexibility, but progress is easier when study time is planned rather than left to spare moments.

Use tutor support when a concept or requirement is unclear, keep copies of submitted work, and maintain a simple record of completed modules. If your circumstances change, contact the support team early rather than allowing the course deadline to pass.
